SMPTE Slave Driver (SSD) - Mac OS Requirements
SSD Setup software 1.31 or higher is required.
Notes:
Pro Tools version 5.0.1 was the last version of Pro Tools with built-in support for the SSD. It is not officially supported with Pro Tools 5.1 and higher.
The SSD will not interface directly with Blue & White G3s and G4s because the SSD connects to CPUs via a serial port connection which is not present on these CPUs. When SSD is connected to systems using a modem-to-serial port converter on these computers, it is only officially qualified as a source of superclock, not as a MTC source.
