  • The above resolutions are supported in both OMF and MXF format
  • Only OP-Atom IMX files are supported. OP-1a IMX files are not supported
  • Direct playback of QuickTime files is not supported, though QuickTime files may be imported into Media Station|PT as Avid files, then played and exported to Pro Tools. Conversely, Media Station|PT can export Avid video and audio files as QuickTime movies
  • ABVB files created with versions of Media Composer earlier than v7.0 are not supported with either Pro Tools or Media Station|PT software

Media Station|PT Machine Control

When capturing or laying back with Media Station|PT, 9-pin video transports must be connected to the serial port of the host computer using the cable provided with the MachineControl option. For more information on MachineControl option, see the following compatibility page:

Avid Unity Support

Media Station|PT 1.8.2 on Windows XP is supports record and playback of audio and video with Avid Unity MediaNetwork.

  • MediaNetwork versions 3.5.x and 4.0 supported
  • ATTO 3300 2 Gb HBA supported. Testing of 4 Gb HBAs is in progress
