Control Surfaces

The Digi 002 includes 8 touch-sensitive, motorized faders. These can also be used simultaneously with other MIDI control surfaces to add more faders to your Digi 002.

The following control surfaces are qualified for use with Digi 002 systems with Pro Tools LE version 5.3.2 software:

  • CM Labs Motor Mix
  • Mackie HUI Controller (HUI firmware v1.4.5 or higher required)
  • JL Cooper CS-10 series (MIDI model)
  • JL Cooper MCS 3000 series MCS-Panner™
  • Peavey PC-1600

Notes:

  • Digidesign Control|24, ProControl, FaderPack and EditPack are not compatible with Digi 002 systems.
  • The Digi 002 faders cannot be used to control any device other than the Digi 002

MIDI Interfaces

The Digi 002 includes the following MIDI interface already built-in: 1 IN port, 2 OUT ports (16 channels IN/32 channels OUT)

The following MIDI Interfaces are also qualified for use with Digi 002 systems with Pro Tools LE version 5.3.2 software for Windows XP:

  • Emagic Unitor8
  • Emagic AMT8
  • Emagic AMT4
  • MOTU Fastlane USB 2x2 (only one per system)
  • Roland UM4
  • Roland UM2

Note: To ensure compatibility, check with the manufacturer of the various system devices you plan to use, to ensure that you are using the latest software or drivers depending on your Windows OS.
