FilmFrame™ 2.0 — Windows Requirements

24P support with FilmFrame, Pro Tools|HD and AVoption|XL

With AVoption|XL and FilmFrame installed, Pro Tools becomes the only audio workstation capable of importing and playing back 24P picture media. Progressive scan technology enables multi-format delivery from a single 24P source, to meet multi-format, multi-version opportunities and challenges presented by DTV and HDTV.

AVoption|XL can play 24P video clips created on Avid Meridien systems. 24P video clips selectively blend both fields and can display an uncompressed image. FilmFrame 2.0 is required for 24P playback on AVoption|XL.

Requirements for 24P support:

• Digidesign approved Windows Pro Tools|HD system
• Windows XP Professional
• 512 MB Total System RAM
• AVoption|XL
• Pro Tools 5.3.3 for HD systems
• FilmFrame v2.0 iLok authorization*

* New purchases of this software include an iLok License Card. An iLok USB Hardware Key is included with all new Pro Tools|HD core systems
