About Avid Pro Tools LE 6.5.1

Avid Pro Tools LE 6.5.1 is specifically for Digi 002 owners on Windows XP systems who want to take advantage of the superior performance of Avid Mojo for video playback. All other users should continue to use their current versions of Pro Tools.
Using a Digi 002®, Avid Mojo, and DV Toolkit™ option, you can open OMF®/AAF sequences created by Avid editors, play back Avid video files via an external monitor, tab from video cut to video cut in the Pro Tools timeline, and export audio for re-integration into the original Avid sequence, making this the fastest audio-for-video workflow available. Avid Pro Tools LE is part of the Avid Xpress Studio Complete bundle (not required).
System Requirements
- Avid Pro Tools 6.5.1 has very specific hardware and configuration requirements. Before downloading this software, see the Xpress Studio Complete configurations:
- HP xw8000 dual 3.06 GHz Xeon workstation
- 1.5 GB system memory (minimum) 2.0 GB system memory (recommended)
- Windows XP Professional w/Service Pack 1*
- NVidia QuadroFX 1100 or the NVidia Quadro4 980 XGL graphics card
- Integrated IEEE-1394 Firewire port
- Add-in IEEE-1394 Firewire card
- HP 400i DVD+RW / +R drive
- Qualified for installation on the same CPU with Avid Xpress Pro version 4.5.1 ONLY. Pro Tools and Avid Xpress Pro share several components, so successful co-installation with other versions of Xpress Pro is not guaranteed.
- DV Toolkit required for exchange of AAF and OMF sequences and files
- Pro Tools LE 6.x license and authorization code required to download
*The Avid Pro Tools LE 6.5.1cs1 Update includes a fix for Digi 002 on Windows XP and Service Pack 2. If you have SP2, you should install Pro Tools LE 6.5.1 first, then install the Avid Pro Tools LE 6.5.1cs1 Update:
