ProAxess Line: With hundreds of thousands of Pro Tools systems installed, Digidesign recognizes the growing importance of having instant access to the highest quality technical support. That's what the ProAxess Line is all about.
The ProAxess Line (P.A.L.) is answered rapidly by senior Digidesign support technicians. Calls into the ProAxess group are usually picked up in one minute or less, allowing customers to bypass the longer wait times in the normal technical support group.
Customers wishing to use the ProAxess line will have two types of service to choose from — the 888 or 900 line. Customers that are not eligible for free technical support will be routed to the ProAxess Line, where they also will be able to choose the type of service they desire.

For many years, Digidesign has had a specific policy stating that free technical support is available for a specified period from the date of purchase, included with the warranty information with new products. ProAxess adds to the quality of customer support across our entire customer base, whether or not your product is still eligible for free technical support.
Customers with products that are past their date of free technical support will now have a way of continuing their access to technical support. Plus, they will have their calls answered quckly by a member of the ProAxess support staff.
Even customers eligible for free technical support may want to take advantage of this service. In cases where time is money, it makes sense to have instant access to technical support. ProAxess will serve the needs of these users well.
Method 1: Call the ProAxess 888 line: 1-888-918-3444 (New Number as of June 1, 2005) and an automated system will handle the billing by VISA, Mastercard, or Discover credit card. 888 numbers are toll-free when calling from most phones, the same as 800 numbers. Cell phone services and facilities such as hotels may add additional access charges for 800 or 888 phone numbers. The billing from Digidesign will appear on your credit card statement as "Telephone Support Services".
Method 2: Call the ProAxess 900 line: 1-900-776-3444 (900-PRO-DIGI) and have the bill appear automatically on your monthly phone bill. It will be noted as "Telephone Support Services".
The rates for either line are the same: $3.00 per minute up to a maximum charge of $75 per call. Charges begin when you reach the live tech and begin your support session.
