Expansion Chassis Requirements —Pro Tools|24 Systems for Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar)

The following Expansion Chassis are officially qualified for use with Pro Tools|24 systems with Pro Tools 6.1 for Mac OS X 10.2:

13 Slot Chassis

• Digidesign Pro Tools Expansion Chassis, 13 Slot
  Compatible models: S/N begins with NB0600100C or higher
  Incompatible models: S/N = NB055300B1 or lower
• Magma 13 Slot Expansion Chassis — model P13R-D1 and P13RC1.5-D1

7 Slot Chassis

• Digidesign Pro Tools Expansion Chassis, 7 Slot
• SBS (Bit3) 7 Slot Expansion Chassis — model DD007-R
• Magma 7 Slot 64-bit 33MHz Expansion Chassis — model P7R464-D1 and P7R464C1.5-D1

Cards & Configurations

A total of up to 10 Digidesign cards is supported using 13 Slot Chassis. This may include up to 7 MIX Core or MIX Farm cards, 2 d24 cards or MIX I/O cards and any number of DSP Farm Cards.

PowerBook CardBus PCI Expansion Systems Currently Not Supported

Cardbus chassis are currently not supported with Pro Tools 6.1 and Pro Tools|24 systems.
