Pro Tools TDM 6.1cs3 for ProControl Owners

Fixes Included With Pro Tools 6.1cs3

• Fixed slow banking performance using ProControl using a ProControl with one or more Fader Packs (item 38655 and 38469)
• This fix is also included in Pro Tools TDM 6.2 for Pro Tools|HD systems

System Requirements

• Pro Tools TDM 6.1 for Mac OS X or Windows XP must already be installed

Who Should use Pro Tools TDM 6.0.1cs2?

This update should be used only by:

• Anyone using a ProControl with one Fader Pack or more and Pro Tools 6.1 software on Mac OS X or Windows XP

Pro Tools TDM 6.1cs3 can only be used to update Pro Tools TDM 6..1 on Mac OS X or Windows XP. If you are using a version of Pro Tools earlier than 6.1, you must first upgrade to Pro Tools 6.1, then install the Pro Tools TDM 6.1cs3 application fix.

Updating Pro Tools

To install Pro Tools 6.1cs3 on Mac OS X:

1. Quit the Pro Tools application if it is open.

2. Replace the current Pro Tools 6.1 application with the included Pro Tools 6.1 file (version 6.1cs3). The file location is as follows: Applications > Digidesign > Pro Tools > Pro Tools 6.1.

3. After replacing the Pro Tools application, launch Pro Tools.

To install Pro Tools 6.1cs3 on Windows XP:

1. Quit the Pro Tools application if it is open

2. Replace the current Pro Tools 6.1 application files with the downloaded Pro Tools 6.1cs3 files:
   File.dll
   ProTools.exe
   ProTools.rsr

3. Drag all three files to the following location: Program Files/Digidesign/Pro Tools

4. After replacing the Pro Tools application, launch Pro Tools.

Important: We recommend that only the Pro Tools users specified above use this update. Pro Tools TDM 6.1cs3 is provided as an interim "customer support (CS)" release to address the issues described. While our testing has not shown these changes to introduce other problems, this version has not been fully qualified by Digidesign.
