Session 8 Mac v1.1 Software Installer

System Requirements:

• Session 8 hardware
  • NuBus card: Pro Tools Project (formerly Session 8 Mac SCSI)
  • Audio interface: 882 I/O, 882 Studio I/O, 888 I/O
  • Legacy Hardware Section
• A Macintosh IIci or faster (i.e. Macintosh IIfx, Quadra or PowerMac series, Centris 650), equipped with a standard NuBus interface and at least 8 megabytes of RAM.
• System 7.1 or higher.
• 32-Bit addressing must be enabled.
• DAE version 1.1 or higher and DigiSystem Init 2.6 or higher are required to run with version 1.1 of Session 8. These files are installed by the Session 8 Installer.

If you choose one of the Custom install options, the Opcode IAC driver will be placed in your active OMS folder, and an IAC help document will be placed in the Session 8 folder. The IAC driver is required for synchronization between Session 8 and an OMS compatible sequencer.

Session 8 Fixer for Macintosh

Session 8 version 1.1 has the potential to duplicate data when saving a session file. Upon reopening the file, Session 8 gets to a duplicate chunk, and this error is posted.

Session 8 Fixer will read the session, strip the duplicate data, then write a fixed copy of the session.
