Windows XP Update for the Music Production Enhancement Suite

November 25, 2003 - This updates the Windows XP versions of the following plug-ins included with the Digidesign bundled software:

• IK Multimedia AmpliTube LE plug-in for RTAS Windows
• IK Multimedia T-RackS EQ plug-in for RTAS Windows

The update also installs SampleTank SE, which has not been modified.

This installer is an updater application that requires the previous installation of these 3 IK Multimedia Plug-Ins included with the Digidesign-bundled Music Production Enhancement Suite:

• IK Multimedia AmpliTube LE
• IK Multimedia SampleTank SE
• IK Multimedia T-RackS EQ

To Install

1. Download and expand the updater
2. Quit Pro Tools
3. Run setup.exe
4. Follow the screen prompts, starting with the default selection: Modify

Fixed With This Update

1. The previous version of AmpliTube LE RTAS for Windows could not save its settings to the Pro Tools session. Every time a session was saved and loaded, all the AT LE sessions were set to defaults.

2. The previous version of T-RackS EQ RTAS for Windows could not save its settings to the Pro Tools session. Every time a session was saved and loaded, all the AT LE sessions were set to defaults.

3. The previous version of AmpliTube LE RTAS for Windows had severe automation problems.

4. The previous version of T-RackS EQ RTAS for Windows had severe automation problems.

All of the above issues are fixed in this update.

• Auto-enable highlighting does not work

Notes

• This updater will only work with the sofware versions included with the Music Production Enhancement Suite bundled with purchases of new Pro Tools hardware systems purchased after August 1, 2003.

• This update does not update or install any of the manuals or samples already installed with the previous installation.
