The following chassis, shipped after January 2002, did not recognize Pro Tools|24 MIX cards when installed. This problem has been fixed. In addition, Pro Tools|24 MIX and Pro Tools|HD users will need to download an updated version of DigiTest (available soon) if they wish to test their setups with these chassis.

Pro Tools|24 MIX System Configuration Support for Power Macintosh
Exceptions that effect all of the above Computers except the 9500 & 9600: *WARNING: If you install the AVoption boards (ABVB and Janus) in an SBS (Bit3) chassis, you run the serious risk of damaging the boards. SBS (Bit3) chassis may be used with AVoption only in a configuration with 9500 or 9600 computers, and when AVoption's two PCI boards (ABVB and Janus) are installed in the CPU. Refer to the AVoption user guide for precise installation instructions. *WARNING: SBS (Bit3) chassis are not supported in any configuration with AVoption|XL. If you install the AVoption|XL board (Meridien Digital Media Board) in an SBS (Bit3) chassis, you run the serious risk of damaging the board. Optional SCSI HBA card bundle (by Apple): For maximum track count, this configuration requires use of a qualified SCSI HBA card. Optional SCSI HBA cards bundled (by Apple) with Power Macintosh computers are not compatible with this configuration due to the lack of NVRAM to store Pro Tools desired SCSI transfer rate. When using HDT 2.5.3 or earlier with a qualified ATTO SCSI HBA card, Firmware v1.1.1 is required. For Blue & White G3 and G4 computers, ATTO ExpressPro-Tools v2.3.2 or higher is required along with ATTO SCSI HBA card, Firmware v1.3.5 or higher. Please contact ATTO for the latest information.
