MasterList CD Version 2.4 Requirements

Computer Requirements
MasterList CD version 2.4 is a Mac OS product which is qualified to run on any Power Macintosh computer listed in these Digidesign Product Compatibility Documents, with 8 MB of RAM dedicated to the MasterList CD application.

MasterList CD is only compatible with the Mac OS through version 9.2.2. It is not compatible with Mac OS X, or in "Classic" mode when booted in OS X:

External Diskette Drive Requirements
A Digidesign-qualified external diskette drive (USB floppy drive) is required for installation of MasterList CD when used with Macintosh Blue & White G3 or G4models.

SCSI HBA Requirements
Use of MasterList CD with Blue & White G3 or G4 computers requires a SCSI HBA card (due to lack of internal SCSI bus). Supported SCSI HBA cards are the same as those supported with Pro Tools systems listed in these Digidesign Product Compatibility Documents.

Hard Drive Requirements
Digidesign qualified dedicated SCSI hard disk with an access time of 18 ms or faster, and non-thermal recalibrating during read/write operations.

CD Recorder Requirements
Compatible Macintosh SCSI-based CD Recorder

Note: In order for a CD recorder to work with MasterList CD, support for the specific model must be built into the MasterList CD application. Only the SCSI devices from the following list will work with MasterList CD version 2.4:

DAE & DSI optional
When a Digidesign system is used for higher quality output monitoring, MasterList CD v2.4 requires DAE 5.0.1 or higher, DigiSystem INIT 5.0.1 or higher & the Direct I/O 5.0.1 or higher extensions. These files are installed by the MasterList CD CD-ROM installer, MLCD 2.4 web update installer, or Pro Tools 5.0.1 or higher installer.
