Pro Tools 6.4 Documentation

The Pro Tools LE 6.4 Update downloads include these documents with the update application:

In order to reduce the download size, other documentation is not included with the Pro Tools LE 6.4 web updater applications for Windows XP and Mac OS X.

For Windows XP documentation, you will need to download the documents, Unzip, then place the contents in the correct location in your Program Files\Digidesign\Documentation directory. You can replace your entire Documentation folder if you want with the downloaded Documentation folder, but be careful not to delete any previous documents you may want to save that may be stored in your current Documentation folder.

Who Should Download These Installers?

The following downloads are ONLY for users installing Pro Tools LE 6.4 using the Pro Tools 6.4 web installers for Windows XP or Mac OS X.

The free Pro Tools 6.4 update CDs that will be available at Digidesign dealers in late March and all Pro Tools 6.4 upgrade CDs will include automatic installation of these documents. If you have either an update or upgrade CD for Pro Tools LE 6.4, you do not need to download this installer.

Download Help

• Mac downloads require Stuffit Expander 5.1.2 or higher (included with Mac OS X)
• Download Aladdin's FREE Stuffit Expander for Mac
• Windows ZIP (.zip) format downloads should be "Saved to Disk" first, rather than opened on the internet. These can be expanded on Windows XP systems by right-clicking on the downloaded files and choosing "Open".
