Pro Tools|HD Pack Version 6.0 Special Offer

For HD 2 Accel and HD 3 Accel Owners

This special offer is for Digidesign customers who purchased and registered a Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel or HD 3 Accel system between January 25, 2004 and March 25, 2004. Under the terms of that promotion, those eligible customers received the HDpack 5.0 and all the Bomb Factory plug-ins included in the HDpack 6.0 for your respective system. By purchasing between January 25th and March 25th, and registering a Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel or HD3 Accel system before March 25, 2004, you'll receive all Bomb Factory plug-ins in the new HDpack 6.0, as well as the following additional plug-ins that are only included in the HDpack 5.0: Speed by SoundToys with an HD 2 Accel purchase; and Speed and Sony's Oxford EQ with an HD 3 Accel purchase.

If you recently purchased a Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel or HD 3 Accel system on or after January 25, 2004, you will also receive the Bomb Factory plug-ins in the HDpack 6.0 for your system for free once they're available. Remember: To take advantage of this offer, you must have purchased your system after January 25, 2004, and registered your system by March 25, 2004.

Other new system purchases are not eligible for this promotion.

The contents of your Pro Tools|HDpack are based on which Pro Tools|HD system you purchased and the date of purchase from your authorized Digidesign dealer.

Users that have qualified for this promotion already have the HDpack v5.0 plug-ins and authorizations. If you have provided your iLok.com account name and registered your iLok there, Digidesign Customer Service Administration will deposit your authorizations to your iLok.com account.

Due to the great response to this special offer, we ask that you please be patient while we process your registration and deposit your assets to your iLok.com account. You will need those authorizations on your iLok to permanently authorized your plug-ins, and you will need the following versions of these plug-in installers:

What if I am eligible for this special offer, but I received the HD Pack v6.0 with my Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel or HD 3 Accel system? How do I get the rest of my plug-ins?

Customers that qualified for this special offer that receive the HD Pack v6.0 plug-ins with their Pro Tools|HD 2 Accel or HD 3 Accel system already have most of the plug-ins included in this offer. To get the additional plug-ins, qualifying customers will automatically be shipped license cards with authorizations for the additional HDpack v5.0 plug-ins for their system:

If you have the HD Pack v5.0 CD, your iLok authorizations for your Bomb Factory plug-ins included in these special offers can only be deposited to your iLok.com account, whether you download or install from the HD Pack v6.0 CD. The downloads above require the iLok authorizations deposited into your iLok.com account. These plug-ins will not work with previous Bomb Factory legacy authorzations. If you own previous Bomb Factory products, you will need to use the version of the plug-ins included with that product, or these update and backup versions:

  • If you experience download or decoding problems, see Download & Website Help
  • Mac OS X:
    • MacBinary (.bin) downloads require Stuffit Expander 5.1.2 or higher (included with Mac OS X)
    • Once the download has been saved to your local hard drive, double-click on the downloaded .bin file to expand it if it has not already expanded.
    • You should then have an OS X Disk Image, with the extension .dmg
    • Double-click on the disk image to mount the image on your desktop
    • Quit Pro Tools if it is open
    • Run the installer and follow the prompts
  • Windows XP:
    • Windows ZIP (.zip) format downloads should be "Saved to Disk" first, rather than opened on the internet. ZIP compressed files can be expanded on Windows XP systems by right-clicking on the downloaded files and choosing "Open".
    • Quit Pro Tools if it is open
    • Run the installer and follow the prompts
  • Download Aladdin's FREE Stuffit Expander for Mac or Windows
