What’s Fixed in ReVibe Version 1.1cs1 for Mac OS X and Windows XP?

Fixed: ReVibe does not register Ls and Rs channels on a surround mix (Item #59042)

• With certain ReVibe Reverb Types, Ls and Rs channels of a surround mix were not properly being fed to the reverb algorithm.
• The ReVibe Reverb Types that exhibit this problem are: Natural, Dense, Tight, and Wide

Who Should Use ReVibe 1.1cs1 for Mac OS X and Windows XP?

This update is recommended for the following ReVibe users only:

• Users working with surround mixes and who are using ReVibe to process rear channels.

ReVibe 1.1cs1 for Mac OS X and Windows XP are provided as interim "customer support (CS)" releases to address the issues described. While our testing has not shown these changes introduce other problems, these versions have not been fully qualified by Digidesign.

Compatibility

• ReVibe requires a Pro Tools|HD Accel system with Pro Tools 6.2 or higher on Mac OS X or Windows XP.

Digidesign can only assure compatibility and provide support for Digidesign-qualified hardware and software configurations. Please note that the ReVibe v1.1 plug-in downloads for Mac OS X and Windows XP in that product section DO NOT include the fix in the 1.1cs1 downloads below. The CS downloads below will replace your previous version.

Authorization

The ReVibe plug-in requires an iLok authorization, and the current iLok Drivers. The iLok drivers are installed by the Pro Tools installers.

IMPORTANT: Please download and install the latest version of the iLok Drivers for Mac & Windows in order to use your iLok USB Hardware Key authorization before installing ReVibe.

• Mac downloads require Stuffit Expander 5.1.2 or higher (included with Mac OS X)
• Download Aladdin's FREE Stuffit Expander for Mac
• Windows ZIP (.zip) format downloads should be "Saved to Disk" first, rather than opened on the internet. These can be expanded on Windows XP systems by right-clicking on the downloaded files and choosing "Open".
