What's Fixed in D-Show 1.1.1?
Fixed: D-Show Snapshot Recall Gets Out of Sync when Using MIDI Program Change Commands to Recall
Snapshots (Item #68034)
- Incoming MIDI messages were being queued incorrectly, resulting in MIDI program changes recalling snapshots out of order.
Fixed: After a Console Reset or Power Cycle, Lightly Touching a Fader without Moving It Can Cause the
Fader to Jump to "–infinity" (Item #69682)
- Fixed an initialization condition where lightly brushing the faders would occasionally cause them to change position.
Fixed: PQ Controller Settings Can Become Corrupted on Power Up or Reset (Item #70018)
- Fixed an initialization condition where PQ Controller level settings might sometimes be restored incorrectly after a reset or
on power on.
Fixed: Hardware Monitor High Temperature Alert Was Set Too Low (Item #69347)
- The hardware monitoring temperature threshold has been increased in accordance with the motherboard manufacturer's
specification to reduce the likelihood of a false overheating report.
Fixed: Changing Between Parameter Pages Mapped to the Assignable Output Encoders in Insert Mode
is Sluggish for Some Plug-ins (Item #68021)
- Some plug-ins would exhibit a noticeable lag time when using D-Show's Next and Prev buttons to switch between parameter
pages mapped to the Assignable Output encoders.
Fixed: Some EQ Plug-In Controls Appear Non-Functional when Mapped to the EQ Section of the ACS
(Item #69321)
- Plug-ins that map stepped frequencies instead of a continuous range of frequencies to the ACS section EQ Frequency encoders
are now supported.
Fixed: Preset Files for Plugs-Ins Installed Manually Are Not Properly Located and Imported into D-Show
(Item #68311)
- Preset files for plug-ins installed manually (from the Windows desktop) were not being recognized by D-Show and therefore
would not show up in the Presets folder.
Fixed: Plug-in Preset Settings Transferred to a USB Key Disk Are Stored with an Incorrect Folder
Structure (Item #68100)
- An incorrect file path was being created when transferring plug-in presets to a USB disk, affecting transfers to and from DShow
and the standalone software.
Fixed: Syncing Plug-In Presets for a Single Plug-In Results in Syncing Presets for All Plug-Ins
(Item #68639)
- Preset files for all plug-ins—not just the selected plug-in—were being synchronized when using the Sync All feature on the
Filing > Transfer page.
Fixed: Typing a "1" on the Numeric Keypad Clears Text Fields (Item #69348)
- If a numeric keypad was being used, typing a "1" would inadvertently delete the selected text field.
Fixed: Aux Send Level Set to 0 dB Instead of "–Infinity" for a Channel Not Assigned to Mains when a
Replace With Mix From… Operation Is Invoked (Item #64586)
- When using the Replace With Mix From feature to copy a Mains (LR or C/Mono) mix to an Aux or Variable Group, the send
level for any channel not assigned to Mains was set to 0 dB instead of "-infinity."
Fixed: PACE Plug-In Copy Protection Updated to Version 5.3 (Item #70364)
- This update installs the latest version of the PACE copy protection driver in order to ensure compatibility with newer plugins.

D-Show 1.1.1 Console Update Q & A
Q: How do I install this update on my D-Show console?
A: You simply download the update file and then follow the included instructions to install the update via USB key disk or a CD burned from the downloaded files.
Q: How long does it take to install this update on a D-Show console?
A: Once the update file is downloaded, the installation process should take less than 15 minutes.
Q: Does applying the update delete any plug-ins or affect any of my saved data (show files, presets, etc.)?
A: No, all plug-ins and user data are preserved during the update.
Q: Are my existing show files compatible with this update?
A: Yes, all show files created using previous versions of D-Show software are compatible with this update.
Q: Are show files created with D-Show 1.1.1 compatible with previous versions of D-Show?
A: Show files created using D-Show version 1.1.1 are compatible with any version of D-Show 1.1 software. They are not compatible with D-Show version 1.0.
Q: How can I tell what version of D-Show software I'm using?
A: The software version is shown in the lower right hand corner of the Options > System Config page. The first three digits are the version number; the last field is the build number. For example, "1.1.0.140" is version 1.1.0, build 140.
Q: If my console is still using D-Show version 1.0, do I need to install version 1.1 first before applying this update?
A: Yes. This update can only be applied to a console already running D-Show version 1.1. Any console running D-Show version 1.0 must first be updated using the version 1.1 update kit, which is available from Digidesign Customer Service.
Q: Do I need to download a new version of the standalone D-Show software (for offline editing)?
A: It is recommended, but not required, that you also download and install an updated version of the standalone D-Show software, which is available from the D-Show Standalone Software Downloads page. If you routinely transfers preset information using the Filing > Transfer page, you should download the latest version of standalone software to get the benefit of several fixes in this update.
