This complete installer application of Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 is provided for the convenience of Pro Tools LE 5.1, 5.1.1, or 5.3.1 owners that wish to switch platforms from either Mac OS or Windows XP and use Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 on either Windows 98 SE or Windows Me. You must already own Pro Tools LE 5.1 or higher software and either a Digi 001 or ToolBox/Audiomedia III Pro Tools LE system. (hardware required, will not work standalone)

D-Verb Plug-In
D-Verb is included with all Digi 001 and ToolBox systems using Pro Tools LE 5.1 or higher. After installing Pro Tools LE 5.1.1, download the D-Verb Version 1.8.1 Plug-Ins Installer

Compatibility Information & System Requirements

• Available from the Support/Compatibility section of the website in the Digidesign Compatibility Documents under "Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 for Win 98 SE/Me"
• The Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 installer application can only be installed on a Windows 98 SE or Windows Me operating system
• Windows XP, 2000, NT, 95, and 3.1 are not compatible with Pro Tools LE 5.1.1
• Digi 001 or Audiomedia III hardware is required to use this software
• This Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 installer application does not require a previous installation of Pro Tools LE on your computer, allowing you to do a complete installation, or "clean install" (please note: if you have Pro Tools Free installed, it should be removed using Add/Remove Programs before installing Pro Tools LE 5.1.1)

Pro Tools 5.1.1 Documents

• Included in the installer, and automatically installed in the following location:
  Program Files->Digidesign->Pro Tools->Release Notes & Documentation. You will need Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to open these documents from the Help menu in Pro Tools, or to open them from the Release Notes & Documentation folder. (Acrobat Reader v4.0 is included in the download)
• Many of these documents are also available from the Support/Tech Support section of the website in the Technical Document Library

Your registered Pro Tools LE 5.1, 5.1.1, or 5.3.1 serial number is required to download and install. This can be found in the following location:

• Inside the front cover of your Getting Started with Digi 001 booklet

• Inside the front cover of your Getting Started with ToolBox XP booklet

• Confirmation of your online purchase of a Pro Tools LE 5.1, 5.1.1, or 5.3.1 upgrade from the DigiStore

This Windows download is an 83 MB Windows ZIP (.zip) encoded file, and requires a zip utility such as WinZip, PKZIP, or Aladdin Stuffit Expander for Windows.

Important Note: If you are not able to download Pro Tools LE 5.1.1, you will need to contact the Digidesign office or distributor where your Pro Tools system and Pro Tools LE 5.1 or higher are registered in order to purchase the Pro Tools LE 5.1.1 CD.
