This download is for anyone wishing to use Pro Tools on either a multiprocessor Apple G4, or a Titanium Powerbook model 550 or higher.

Without this download:

• Users with multiprocessor systems may experience -6042 errors unless they remove the Multiprocessor folder from their extensions folder, thus disabling the second processor.
• Users of Titanium Powerbooks model 550 or higher are unable to use expansion chassis for their Pro Tools hardware.

What This Download Fixes:

When choosing RealAudio G2 as a bounce option in Pro Tools version 5.3, the following error may appear:

"The Real Audio option cannot be enabled because a program error occurred -2804 while loading the RealAudio.dll"

Some of the files in the RealAudioG2 folder on the Pro Tools 5.3 for Macintosh HD systems are not the correct version for HD systems, which can cause the above error. The enclosed folder named "RealAudioG2" should be used to replace the folder of the same name located in your System Folder/DAE Folder/Codecs folder.

For example, this problem occurs when dragging windows in the finder or when manipulating controls in Koblo.

OMS by Opcode Systems. The OMS installer is included on all Pro Tools CDs for Mac OS 8/9. OMS is required with Pro Tools on Mac OS 8/9, including Pro Tools FREE for Macintosh systems. (not included in the Pro Tools FREE for Mac download, but available separately on the Pro Tools FREE download page)
